The Corpus Christi Catechism Fund was born when several Univeristy of St. Thomas Catholic Studies alumni began gathering weekly with other young adults to pray and discuss how they could embrace the Holy Father's call to "put out into the deep and lower your nets for a catch."

In the midst of these discussions, the idea to spread the Catechism of the Catholic Church across the United States in a "Catechisms Across America" campaign was born. We decided to start small, with our own Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

With the blessings of our bishop, Harry Flynn, we began distributing catechisms in Sept. 2001, and since then have handed out over 16,000 copies.

We still hope, with your support, to continue to expand this program and raise awareness across the country of the great gift that the catechism is to the Church.
